Come and join in the FREE fun on 14th July 2012 at Much Wenlock

In order to celebrate the Wenlock Olympian Games, Much Wenlock’s unique Olympic heritage and the lead up to the London 2012 Olympics, we are putting on a large celebration in Much Wenlock. This charitable event will follow a similar plan to that of our annual Christmas Fayre, with a day of 10:30pm until 5:30pm.

If you would like to apply for a stall at this historic event, you will find on this page a Booking Form with Terms and Conditions for you to download. Successful applicants will be notified via email or phone as soon as we receive the booking form and then you will receive a “Confirmation of Booking” pack.

We are working with the Much Wenlock Christmas Fayre Committee, Wenlock Olympian Society and Much Wenlock Town Council to organise this event. Also local groups are joining in with the celebration. As well as a good variety of stalls, there will be a lot of entertainment during the Celebration for example, bird of prey displays, Bands, plays, street entertainment, dances and much more. There will be a large amount of children’s activities for example animal man and a small fun fair. There will be craft workshops in the Priory hall. Also there will be lots of activities to highlight Much Wenlock’s unique Olympic Heritage including re-enactments of the old sports and special exhibitions.

We believe that this event will be very well attended as the Olympic heritage of Much Wenlock has become world renowned with the London Games starting just two weeks later and the Olympic Mascot being named Wenlock.

We are all very excited about this event, and hope you will be too by booking a stall! If you have any questions please email Danny Budd on or call him on 01952 728328. If you want to book a pitch please send your booking form back to Danny Budd, 12 Swan Meadow, Much Wenlock, Shropshire, TF13 6JQ.
